Requirements

A Grade 12 Matric Certificate and a Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Resource Based Sector, such as agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining or related fields as recognised by SAQA (NQF Level 6) would be an added advantage. One to two years’ experience in an administrative support services preferably within a resource based environment. Computer Literacy, High level of reliability, Ability to act with tact and discretion. Ability to do research and analyse documents and situations. Knowledge of the relevant legislation/ policies/ prescripts and procedures and Basic knowledge of financial administration.

Duties

Provide support to the Directorate. Liaise with the key stakeholders (internally and externally). Provide support to the Assistant Director in enhancing engagements to effectively drive sector strategy and implementation plan with stakeholders. Coordinate and manage projects initiated from the office of the Director. Prepare project related presentations and assist the Assistant Director in compiling consolidated project reports. Ensure duplication, updating and safe keeping of all project records and documents. Consolidate monthly reports and submit to all relevant stakeholders. Conduct research and gather information to support the Assistant Director in decision making. Assist the Assistant Director with the resource mobilization.
